f-cell 2022 in Stuttgart: Thank you for the great event!
For the third time we were exhibitors at the impulse event on hydrogen and fuel cells in Stuttgart and look back on two exciting days with a lot of activity and a great audience at our booth.
Continuous growth: Laufenberg invests in a new raw materials hall
Since the then Laufenberg KG moved from Straelen to Krefeld Hüls in 1956, additional land has been continuously acquired, new plants, finishing and raw material halls have been built, and existing buildings have been expanded. In this way, an ultra-modern plant has gradually been built on the premises, which now cover an area of approx. 38,000 square meters.
Let’s celebrate – 75 Jahre Laufenberg
75 years ago – in 1947 – Laufenberg GmbH was founded as a family business for the production of roofing felt. Shortly thereafter, we specialized in the production of siliconized release papers – so-called release liners.
Today Laufenberg stands for high quality solutions based on silicone coated films and papers as well as special products. More than 250 employees work on production and further development. In Krefeld Hüls, an ultra-modern plant with machinery of the highest standard has gradually been built.
We would like to thank all employees, former employees, customers and business partners for the many years of good cooperation and look forward to further successful years together!

Certification according to/ IEC 27001:2017
Dear customers,
We are pleased to announce that we are now also certified according to ISO / IEC 27001.
This is an important new component of our integrated management system. ISO 27001 defines the requirements for information security management with a series of guidelines, procedures, processes and systems that manage information risks such as cyber attacks, hacks, data leaks or theft.
An important aspect for our cooperation, because the ISMS (Information Security Management System) protects the confidentiality, availability and integrity of the data through the guidelines, procedures, technical and physical controls.

First place for company health management
Laufenberg is delighted to have been awarded first place in the IHK Middle Niederrhein „For the company with the best health management with 50 – 500 employees“.
Laufenberg acquires the know-how for the Release Paper Business from Advanced Coated Products Ltd.
Laufenberg GmbH and Advanced Coated Products Ltd. (ACP) have signed an agreement to takeover the customers of the release paper business of ACP.
