A sustainable approach to the resource wood has high priority for us. As a company producing silicone coated papers, we appreciate the great importance of protecting our forests.
Thanks to our collaboration with the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) we are able to provide both, our customers and ourselves, the chance to source material from environmentally and socially responsible sources.
Laufenberg GmbH has already established guidelines for the efficient use of its resources within the company structure and has adhered to these guidelines for many decades.
Due to the successful certification, we are sure that we have made the next step towards our companies’ sustainability behavior.
Forests are essential for humans and we need to protect them for future generations.
It is not necessary to avoid wood as a resource, as it is already a sustainable raw material. The forest industry should, however, aim to follow ecological guidelines and rules.
As the protection of forests can only work on a global level, organizations such as the FSC® hold the key to achieving this goal. This is the reason why Laufenberg decided to collaborate with the Forest Stewardship Council®.
Since 21st January 2020 we are certified (FSC® C154803), giving us the opportunity to offer FSC® certified products.
Our processes are optimized and we have 100 % traceability of products within our supply chain.
