2. Data collection and data usage on our website

When visiting our website

When you visit our website www.laufenberg.info, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information will be collected without your assistance and stored until automated erasure:
• IP address of the requesting computer,
• date and time of access,
• name and URL of the retrieved file,
• website from which access is made (referrer URL),
• the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The data mentioned are processed by us for the following purposes:
• ensuring a smooth connection of the website,
• ensuring comfortable use of our website,
• evaluation of system security and stability as well as
• for further administrative purposes.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. In no case we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you. In addition, we use cookies and analysis tools on our website. Further details can be found under points 2, 3 and 4 of this privacy policy.

By using our contact form

For questions of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website. Name, company, city, country, telephone and a valid e-mail address are required so that we know from whom the request originates and are able to answer them. Further information can be provided voluntarily. The data processing for the purpose of contacting us is based on your voluntarily granted consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR. The personal data collected by us via the use of the contact form will be deleted after processing and completion of your request.

Electronic applications

We collect and process personal data of applicants for the purpose of accomplishing the application process. The processing can also be done electronically. This is especially the case if an applicant submits corresponding application documents electronically, for example by e-mail to us. The data processing for the purpose of handling your application is based on your voluntarily granted consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR. If we conclude an employment contract with an applicant, the data will be stored for the purpose of implementing the employment contract in compliance with the statutory provisions. If we do not conclude a employment contract with the applicant, the application documents will be erased 6 months after the announcement of rejection, provided that erasure does not conflict with any legitimate interest on our side. Such legitimate interest is, for example, a burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

Mandatory statutory provisions – especially retention periods – remain unaffected.

Disclosure of data

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for other purposes than those listed below.
We only share your personal information with third parties if:
• You gave your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR,
• in case of a legal obligation in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s.1 lit. c GDPR, or
• this is legally permissible and required to establish and implement  a contractual relationships with you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. cookies do not harm your device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malicious software. The cookie stores information related to the specific device used. However, this does not mean that we gain knowledge of your identity. On the one hand, the use of cookies enhances the user friendliness of our website. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These are automatically deleted after leaving our site. In addition, to improve usability, we also use temporary cookies that are stored on your device for a certain period of time. 3. Analysing tools and advertising

On the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR we use the tracking measures listed below. With these tracking measures, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the continuous optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests are to be considered as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision. The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.

Google Analytics

In order to customize and continually optimize our website, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.com/intl/en/about/) (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereafter “Google”). In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies (see under Section 2) are used. Information generated by these cookies about your use of this website such as
• browser type / version,
• used operating system,
• referrer URL (the previously visited page),
• host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
• time of server request,
are transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage for the purposes of market research and tailor-made website design. This information may also be transferred to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on Google’s behalf. Google will not merge your IP address with any other data held by Google. The IP addresses are anonymized, so that matching of IP-address and other data is not possible (IP masking). We have entered into a contract data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics

Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

In order to statistically record and evaluate the use of our website and to optimize its usability, we also use Google conversion tracking. Google Adwords will set a cookie (see Section 2) on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad. These cookies are valid for 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer’s website and the cookie has not expired yet, Google and the customer can identify that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Every Adwords customer receives a different cookie, so cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. The information gathered via the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Adwords customers receive the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a site with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users. If you do not want to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the required setting of a cookie – for example, via a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com”. Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites a service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
With reCAPTCHA we want to check if data entries on our websites (for example in a contact form) are done by a human being or by an automated program. For this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website user based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the user enters the website. reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (for example, the IP address, the time users spent on the website, or user mouse movements). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to Google. reCAPTCHA analyzes happen completely in the background. Users are not advised that an analysis is taking place.
This data processing is conducted on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its websites from abusive automated spying and SPAM.

4. Plugins and Tools

Youtube

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube webpage powered by Google. Website operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
When you visit one of our YouTube plug-in-enabled sites, you will be connected to the YouTube servers, which are informed which of our pages you’ve visited.
If you’re logged into your YouTube account, you will enable YouTube to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
The use of YouTube enhances an attractive presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Google Web Fonts

For uniform display of fonts this site uses so-called web fonts, provided by Google When you visit our website, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
In order to do this, your browser has to connect to Google’s servers. Thereby, Google knows that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a consistent and attractive presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Google Maps

This site uses the mapping service Google Maps via an API. Provider of this service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use the features of Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to and stored on a Google server in the United States. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.

Right to information

You have the right to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been disclosed, the planned storage period, the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to complain, the source of your data, if not collected from us, and about the existence of automated individual decision-making, including profiling and, where appropriate, meaningful information about their details.

Right to rectification

You have the right under Art. 16 GDPR to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate (incorrect or incomplete) personal data stored by us.

Right to erasure

You have the right under Art. 17 GDPR to obtain the erasure of your personal data stored with us without undue delay, unless the processing is required for exercising the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right under Art. 18 GDPR to obtain restriction of processing of your personal data, if the accuracy of the personal data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful, but you oppose the erasure of the personal data and request restriction of their use instead, we no longer need your personal data but they are required by you for the establishment, exercise of defence of legal claims or you have objected to data processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR.

Right to data portability

You have the right pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR to receive your personal data provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller.

Right to withdraw consent

You have the right pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR to withdraw your consent at any time. In that case, we are no longer allowed to continue the data processing based on this consent in the future.

Right to complain

You have the right under Article 77 GDPR to lodge a complaint to a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR. Generally, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or work or our company headquarters. Right to object

If processing of your personal data is based on legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to file an objection against the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, on grounds relating to your particular situation or in case your objection addresses direct marketing. In case of the latter, you have a general right of objection which will be implemented by us.

6. Data Security

SSL or TSL encryption

This site uses an SSL- or TLS-encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us. We use the common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method, in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. In general, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we’ll use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether a page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form can be recognized by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from “http: //” to “https: //” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. We also take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
