Compared to other film release liners, polyester films (PET) are characterized by high strength, very high temperature resistance and low thickness fluctuations.
Polyester films are available in a wide range of variations. They are used, for example, as process films, as covers for hotmelt adhesives, for electronic products or in medical products such as transdermal patches.
The hard, very even surface also makes them ideal for punching applications.
