Sustainability certifications are essential in demonstrating and reinforcing Laufenberg’s commitment to sustainability. They enable us to evaluate, improve, and clearly communicate our sustainability performance.
Adherence to high standards in information security and data protection is essential to us. Our security certifications ensure the security of our processes, including the IT systems, components, and processes involved.
To minimize non-value-added activities, we pursue a comprehensive hygiene concept. This includes direct prevention programs such as foreign object damage (prevention of damage caused by foreign objects), the 5S method (for optimal workplace design), a double-door system, as well as methods for pest control and bacteria measurement.
In the spirit of modern quality management, we not only focus on our own sustainable economic success. We also strive for socially acceptable and environmentally friendly production. To ensure quality, we pursue a zero-defect strategy, which we view as an ongoing process.
The Code of Conduct is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility. It expresses, among other things, our voluntary commitment to ecologically, economically, and socially sustainable actions. This applies to resource conservation, long-term employee retention, or generally efficient corporate governance to secure the company’s future.
For us, practicing sustainability means continuously improving energy-related performance, i.e., increasing energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption. Various energy efficiency programs support the energy efficiency measures in our production. We are working to continuously increase the proportion of renewable energy.
Reducing Negative Environmental Impacts:
Following the principles of sustainable development, environmental protection is an integral part of our corporate policy. Our environmental protection goals include improving energy and material efficiency, avoiding environmentally harmful raw materials and manufacturing processes, reducing environmentally harmful auxiliary materials, and adhering to the motto “waste prevention before recycling.”
For the future of our forests: We use certified papers that are tested according to the strictest standards.
At Laufenberg, we also want to make our contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals set out in the 2030 Agenda. Therefore, we have defined four Sustainable Development Goals that are particularly relevant to Laufenberg and through whose support we can make the greatest contribution to achieving these global goals.
