Milestones

Laufenberg GmbH was established in 1947 as a family enterprise by Bernhard Laufenberg, initially focusing on the production of roofing felt in Straelen. Seven years later, the company moved to Hüls. Shortly after, it shifted its focus to the manufacturing of siliconized release liners, which have become essential across various industries.

Since then, the company has experienced steady growth and has established itself as a notable player in the international market, offering customized solutions based on siliconized films and papers, along with specialty products. More than 300 employees are engaged in production, development, and administration at two locations in Germany and England.
