In my first year of training at Laufenberg, I was able to work in various departments in the company and take on a wide range of tasks.
This gave me valuable insights into the different areas of work and helped me to get to know my professional interests and strengths better.
In Domestic Sales, my focus was on customer satisfaction. Here I was responsible for processing orders, customer inquiries, complaints, stock and price lists. I also managed customer master data and managed communication between customers, representatives and our company. Overall, I was able to gain valuable experience here, both in the team and with customers.
In dispatch, the last step before our finished goods leave the company, I took on tasks such as checking the completed orders, registering the goods with the forwarding agents, creating delivery bills, invoices and shipping documents. Auditing transport invoices was also an important task. Here I learned to work with great concentration and precision in order to avoid mistakes so that a smooth shipping process could be guaranteed.
In Procurement, I had the opportunity to place orders, book incoming goods, check raw material stocks and invoices and process credit notes. Managing stock and warehouse lists was also one of my tasks. Here I learned how important it is to keep an overview of the raw material stock to ensure uninterrupted production.
Expectations fulfilled?
So far, Laufenberg has met my expectations in terms of the diversity of the training. The opportunity to get to know different departments and to take on tasks in each area allowed me to gain my own insights and find out which areas suit me best. I am grateful for this experience and look forward to the coming years of training at Laufenberg.
