Laufenberg offers a wide range of special, application-specific siliconizations:
- High speed release systems: The release force remains constantly low even at very fast delamination speeds. For example, reorientation of the adhesive is avoided even at high speeds with differentiated siliconized liners.
- Premium release system for acrylic adhesives: Our BLA coating offers extra low release values even against aggressive acrylic adhesives
- Premium release for butyls: Butyls and butyl-like compounds often have the property of exhibiting a certain “stop-and-go effect” on silicone coatings. This means that the butyl mass shows a high force peak at the beginning of the delamination. The butyl compound is often not removed evenly and easily. In extreme cases, this can lead to blocking.
We have developed a specific coating on PET and PP/E films especially for butyl applications. With most butyls, this siliconization ensures a smooth, even pull-off with low release forces. - Coatings for silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives: We offer a system based on a fluorosilicone as well as on a fluorine-free coating.
- Smooth silicon ization: We also offer extremely smooth siliconization on PET film. This has significantly less surface structure, which means that smooth adhesive surfaces can be achieved.
- Slip-resistant siliconization: This variant offers significantly lower friction compared to normal, solvent-free siliconization.
- Colorsiliconization: By coloring the silicone, for example, the easily separating side of a liner can be marked. It can also be used to distinguish between different products, for example.
- Antistatic coating: A special coating can reduce the static charge of the liner to a minimum in order to avoid undesirable static effects in the end application.
