Sustainable processes have played an important role at Laufenberg for many years. We dedicate ourselves to sustainable developments and the responsible use of finite resources in numerous projects.<\/p>\n

We are not only concerned with reducing ourcarbon footprint<\/sub>, but also with assuming social, ecological and economic responsibility throughout our company. Maintaining a verifiably sustainable supply chain is also very important to us.<\/p>\n

Part of our strategy is to develop more sustainable and responsible products. Our portfolio offers products with a high recycled content and the option of comparing them with standard liners in acarbon footprint calculation<\/sub>.<\/p>\n

Particular attention is paid to the development of PFAS-free products. PFAS are “eternal chemicals” that are not degradable. They are used in fluorosilicone coatings that are used in combination with silicone adhesives, e.g. in the medical sector, as the combination of standard silicone and silicone adhesives does not lead to the desired release properties.<\/p>\n

Laufenberg has developed a special product line that has good release properties in combination with many silicone adhesives without the use of PFAS.
